This series is dedicated to the development of modeling techniques, as well as the use of paints and other media, to make realistic scenic bases in vignettes and dioramas. Each volume addresses a specific theme, showing different techniques and illustrating the various processes step-by-step. In addition, photos of real landscapes are included as references for each scene.
The first volume in the Landscapes of War series contains many examples, both in terms of modeling and painting, allowing the reader to create a variety of different environments and natural elements, including paths, beaches, rocks, trees, snow and water.
The book consists of five Chapters, and a Subject Index:
